Happy 1st Birthday to "Interior Gaze"
It’s been a year since the release of my CD, “Interior Gaze.” I couldn't have done it without the financial and moral support of so many generous people. Below are some exciting milestones accomplished since the CD release.
-We recently placed our second reorder, after distributing the first 2000 copies
-I’ve given an average of 8 live events per month, including:
Guest appearance on EWTN Global TV (“Life on the Rock”)
Summer festivals alongside major Christian recording acts (Newsboys, Jeremy Camp, Matt Maher and more)
“Catholic TV” appearance (Boston, MA)
Nationwide performances for churches, youth events, and mainstream music venues
A successful 10-month tour with my family, spanning the Midwest, East Coast, Southern States and West Coast
-The song "Cleaning and Scrubbing” from "Interior Gaze" won the pop/electronic music award of ArtPrize 2013
-We raised enough funds to produce a new inspirational/acoustic CD, complementing the more contemporary sound of “Interior Gaze”
-Oasis Disc Manufacturing requested to showcase “Interior Gaze” in their marketing materials, reaching tens of thousands of viewers
-My inspiration for the title and direction of “Interior Gaze,” Pope John Paul II, was canonized a saint!
-And lastly, the Green Bay Packers invited me to sing the National Anthem at Lambeau Field for their expedition game on August 28th, 2014. (Only my life’s dream, coming true!)
In the last year, my career has grown in leaps and bounds. The best news of all is that while my music opportunities continue to expand, so does our family! We’re looking forward to meeting our third child this autumn. I’m humbled to be able to support our growing family through something so life-giving and uplifting as music.
I’m indebted to those who believe in the message behind my music. It’s an honor to pass on bits of the “Theology of the Body” each time I share these songs from “Interior Gaze.” The encouragement from family, friends, and fans gives me and my family the inspiration to continue with joy while we look forward with hope.
Peace,
Amanda
